In the midst of the pandemic, doctors and medical organisations were on the front line in the difficult fight for lives. A year later, medicine has made great advances in the study of the new coronavirus infection, exploring new ways of treating it. It is now time to analyse the experience gained and draw some conclusions for the further fight against the virus.
The session was attended by Maxim Kalinkin, General Director of Gazprombank Leasing JSC, Yelena Latysheva, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Expert Medical Group, Muslim Muslimov, Chairman of the Association of Healthcare Managers, Chairman of the Business Russia Committee on Healthcare Services of the public organisation, Denis Remenyako, founder of the Clinic No.1 chain of medical centres, founder and General Director of pharmaceutical company FC Grand Capital, and Konstantin Sharlovsky, Head of Pepelyaev Group's Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare practice.
During the session, the speakers discussed the following range of issues: how medicine will evolve after COVID-19. Whether the roles of the private and public sector in medicine will change. What new services will be in demand; what the latest medical technologies have penetrated the private medical market in Russia; what the role of pharmaceuticals is in new medical technologies and where is the effective bridge between pharmaceuticals and private and public medicine.
The session was moderated by Andrey Yanovsky, General Director of the European Medical Centre and Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Non-Governmental Medical Organisations (NANMO).
