Some information about RBC ranking:
The purpose of the rating is to identify Russia's largest companies with a pronounced industry affiliation and analysis of economic processes taking place in sectors of the economy on the basis of the list of companies and groups. In accordance with these goals, the current methodology described in this methodology is applied.
The main indicator for ranking companies is their revenues net of VAT, excise duties and export duties (net revenue). If a company does not publish a financial indicator cleared of VAT, excise taxes and export payments, then the amount of gross revenue was reduced by these taxes and payments taken in the operating expenses of the consolidated statements.
The rating includes companies registered in Russia and owned by Russian individuals and legal entities (share - at least 50%).
The ranking includes companies that were legally separate from other companies or other market participants as of 1 September 2018.
In preparing the rating, we used data from the companies annual reports, press releases and financial statements, both those in the public domain and those provided by the companies. Data from SPARK (Professional Market and Company Analysis System) and Interfax CRKI (Corporate Information Disclosure Centre), AutoBusinessRevue, CNews and INFOLine were also used.
