An expert opinion of Lidia Narkaytis, Commercial Director of the Budget Sales Development Department, FC Grand Capital, highlighted in the GxP News column: How Government and Businesses Can Benefit from a Shared Drug Supply IT System
Denis Remenyako, General Director, FC Grand Capital, talked to Pharmvestnik about the strategy for building interactions between the national distributor and retail chains, cost optimization methods, reasons why local suppliers cannot compete against nation-wide distributors and the general situation at the distribution market.
He also highlighted reasons why some manufacturers make their relationships with pharmacy chains difficult and suggested ways to diffuse that situation.
Mr. Remenyako noted that only companies capable of solving the government goal of securing the nation-wide medicine supply are going to stay at the pharma market. As for small distributors, the market transformation logic dictates there would be no place left for them. The reason is the government's drive to make drugs available to the population across Russia.
