FC Grand Capital provides manufacturers and pharmacies with an interactive platform for profitable interaction

The top management of FC Grand Capital and the heads of the company's key divisions discussed at a business breakfast with their partners - representatives of manufacturing and retail pharmaceutical companies - the results of the Capital portal in 2019 and announced the expansion of the site's functionality in 2020.

The Capital Portal, launched by FC Grand Capital in January 2018, is designed to connect pharmaceutical manufacturers and out-of-contract players in the retail pharmaceutical market. Over the past two years, the project has joined more than 9,000 clients, managing 32 thousand retail outlets with an aggregate quarterly turnover of over 1 billion rubles, said Denis Remenyako, General Director of FC Grand Capital.

The action of the platform supports a wide branch network of Grand Capital, which allows the manufacturer to work with those individual pharmacies and small chains, the supply of which is difficult, noted the main advantage of the project Deputy Head of Marketing Department Oksana Khalonen.

The interaction between users of the platform is as follows: pharmaceutical manufacturers sell a selected range through the portal, and the pharmacy itself decides for which nomenclature and with which supplier it is more interesting to work, marking individual items with a "like". Now there are 85 manufacturers registered on the portal, cumulatively offering almost 2 thousand product items.

The pharmacy receives bonuses for meeting or exceeding the plan, and the performance of each individual pharmacy is taken into account, which helps to avoid, in particular, situations with overselling of goods. Thus, single pharmacies or organized retailers get the opportunity for additional income, and the manufacturer - new customers and increased loyalty to themselves and their assortment.

The distributor acts as a consultant, providing professional expertise and helping customers follow a sales plan. "The portal is an attempt to return the power over the market to manufacturers so that they themselves can honestly determine who should be the recipient of the marketing budget, how the pharmacy should work, what income it should receive for their work", - explained the ideology of the project General Director of FC Grand Capital Denis Remenyako.

The main innovation offered by the moderator of the platform is access to reporting on pharmacy sales virtually online: the data is updated every 40 minutes. This allows Capital users to preempt defects on any items and ensure product availability at all outlets.

Participants in the business breakfast representatives of manufacturing pharmaceutical companies noted the effectiveness of work with the portal, which manifested itself in the growth of sales and share of uncontracted retail in their structure, pointed to the transparency in reporting, support by Grand Capital of the work at all stages. Representatives of pharmacies, who are customers of the portal, named among the advantages of working with Capital expansion of the range, the lack of rigid conditions, in particular, to maintain a mandatory product matrix.

In turn, the representatives of FC Grand Capital told about the changes that await customers of the platform in 2020. First, pharmacies will be divided into categories, depending on which manufacturers will be able to form a sales plan.

Secondly, manufacturers will be able to pay bonuses based on the sales of goods supplied to retailers not only by Grand Capital, but also by any other distributor. This option became available due to the timely reporting of actual sales for a particular item in a particular pharmacy. "Thus, we suggest focusing the attention of employees of pharmaceutical companies interacting with pharmacy chains, not on the conclusion of voluminous agreements, which are now available to pharmacies in the portal, but on the real control of the sale of goods, its proper presentation, promotions. Receiving reports, you can at any time see the sales trend of the assortment and take timely action to understand why there is a loss of loyalty to a particular product. Access to relevant indicators is a great tool to influence the client and work effectively with him," explained Denis Remenyako.

FC Grand Capital aims to achieve a turnover of 200 billion rubles by 2024. "This is possible if the balance of the market is maintained," said the Head of the company. - We understand that in five years there may be only three or four pharmacy chains left, which is not beneficial to either manufacturers or distributors. We want small and medium-sized businesses to develop and continue to grow."
